Elliott Melamed, CPA
Elliot Melamed founded Melamed & Karp, PA in 1991 after working for a large regional accounting firm in Miami, FL for over 11 years. Elliot graduated from Rider College in New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. Elliot's expertise includes assurance services, business and tax advisory for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and not-for-profits. Industry focus includes real estate, environmental clean-up, retail, restaurants, manufacturing, entertainment, and professional services. Additionally, Elliot has served as an expert witness.
Elliot currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Broward Partnership for the Homeless and has previously served as treasurer of the Pediatric Heart House and as a committee member for the Jason Taylor Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Elliot is an avid New York Giants fan and golfer resides in Weston, Florida with his wife and three children.

Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Steven is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana State University, Steven moved to South Florida in 1985. Following a six year career at a large regional accounting firm in Fort Lauderdale, Steven co-founded Melamed & Karp, PA in 1991. His expertise includes assurance services, business and tax advisory for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and not for profits. Industry focus includes real estate, retail, restaurants, manufacturing, entertainment, and professional services. Steven values philanthropy, hard work, and family.
Steven has a passion for giving back, especially to causes involving diabetes and stem cell research. As the son of a police officer, Steven is also an avid supporter of several law enforcement charities. He also makes annual donations to national and local charities.
Professionally, Steven serves as Vice President of Finance of The Gold Coast Builder's Association, and was voted Member of the year in 2005. Personally, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Although Steven has been in Florida over 20 years and has become a Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlin's fan, he'll always be a St. Louis Cardinal fan.
